In simple terms, Goal Fever is a promotion that results in a 25% cash bonus being paid on top of the winnings for a pre-match single bet on the match result market. This will apply to selected matches where your chosen team not only wins the game but does so by three or more goals. If that happens, Betfred could’ve paid 25% extra on top of the winnings from the bet itself.
What the Small Print Says
As you might imagine, such a promotion doesn’t come without some small print. It is a valid promotion for new and existing customers that have verified accounts. You qualify for the promotion by place a pre-match bet on the result of a match (win, draw, win) that is being covered by the offer. Betfred confirm which matches are part of the promotion on the company’s website, so you can find out whether your bet will qualify or not reasonably easily.
The key thing when it comes to the bet is that it is on the 1X2 market, so bets on any other market won’t qualify. You also need to place a single bet, with those that are not singles not counting. Obviously the most important thing is to ensure that you place the bet on a specified match, given the fact that doing so on any other match won’t count. If you have a free bet token then avoid using it if you want to take advantage of this promotion as using one will disqualify you from doing so. The same is true of bets placed on boosted prices or special markets. If your bet ends up being made void, it also won’t count.
Getting 25% Cash Winnings
Should your chosen team win the match in question by a margin of three or more goals, you will be credited with 25% winnings bonus as cash. It will be paid into your account within 24 hours of the bet being settled. Perhaps the key bit of information in terms of getting your payout is that your selected team needs to win by three or more goals. You could have a result of 4-3, for example, but that wouldn’t result in you receiving the cash boost as they will only have won by one goal. A 4-0 or 4-1 win, on the other hand, would see you receive the 25% bonus on top of the normal winnings you’d receive.
The bonus amount that you’re paid is on the winnings, which means that your stake does not receive the bonus amount. They are paid at Betfred’s discretion, so they can be withdrawn or amended as the company sees fit. That will usually only happen if someone appears to be engaged in fraudulent activity or something suspicious has taken place.
